
Doron Segal is a Berlin-based jazz pianist, composer and producer from northern Israel. After classical training at the Karmiel Conservatory and jazz studies at the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem (Jazz Piano)—including an Excellence Scholarship from The Israeli Union of Performing Artists—he relocated to Berlin in 2014 and has since become an active part of the city’s international scene, touring across Europe and South East Asia.
He has recorded and performed with artists and projects including Fink, Lori Lieberman, Jembaa Groove, Ina Forsman and J.Lamotta, and is closely associated with the labels Move 78 and Village Live Records.
Live highlights include appearances at Blue Note Tokyo, Blue Note Rio, Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club, New Morning, Jazz Cafe, Brick Lane Jazz Festival and XJAZZ Festival.
As a bandleader, he has released two trio albums—the debut in 2019 and the follow-up Couldn’t Refresh Feed (2024)—alongside a catalog of productions and collaborations spanning modern jazz, groove-driven projects and song-based sessions.
